As an Ecuadorian illustrator and visual artist living in the Bay Area, my artwork draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of the Latino community, capturing an essence through a “costumbrista” and whimsical lens of magical realism. My work is characterized by vibrant color, experimentation and texture. By representing my community through my art, I aim to create a sense of connection, pride and celebration.
